  1. I got to see Obama speak at SBCC when he was running against Hillary about 10 years ago. He’s a really good speaker. He stood on the grassy hill overlooking the ocean, and I laughed when he said if he went to school there, he wouldn’t be able to get any studying done. He wasn’t well known then, so there weren’t many people in the audience.

    A few weeks after that, I went to UCSB to watch Hillary speak. Even though I arrived over an hour early, the line to enter the auditorium was long, and I wasn’t able to get in. She was at the top of her game, but Barack ended up winning the primary. A true underdog story.

    The nation did great under his leadership. It’s great to see him still active in politics and humanitarian causes
