Is it better to leave a legacy —
a solid house,
a cleared field,
a stack of debts,
a recipe for pie,
a gentle child,
a good story,
a jar of buttons —
or to be swept away with the infinite
anonymous and cast into the stars?

Yep, I’m not sure where I went with this one. But the feeling to me is that everyone who cares about the world while they’re in it is loved and leaves a legacy; in many ways, the more humble the better.
