Whenever (and lately it’s more often than I’d like to admit) I tune in to these country-bumpkin comedians (my favorite is Larry the Cable Guy), I LOL. Here, in my solo apartment, I LOL. And even though I was certain of the punch line of the parrot joke, I LOLed at it because, damn it, joke telling is almost entirely in the delivery.
