I suppose you’re wondering about the change of address for the blog. I’m applying for jobs. My politics tend to tilt to one side, which may not be … efficacious to my intentions. So having a politically leaning blog with my full name in the URL seems ill-advised. Anyway, I’m glad you’re here. We’re just going to keep thrashing the shrubbery. Or titling into the wind, or something.
By the way, if you’ve missed the illumination of my new blog title, scroll all the way down to the footer.
For those newer to the jargon of the Web , URL stands for Universal Resource Locator – it’s the specific address of something on the internet.
Who knows where these things come from, Kyle. I know you know. We follow where they lead us.Inexorably. Sometimes being a poet is a pain in the ass. Truly an unchampionable yoke. 😉
>bearing of an unchampionable yoke<Wow. There's a turn of phrase worth reading more than once. Cool.
While your decision may indeed be prudent and wise, in my own case I perhaps hamstring myself with this piece of catgut: I don't wish to work for anyone who would find my politics of such distaste as to exclude me from their employ. My happy revenge is that they don't get to have me as their ideological lackeyboy. I'd rather starve with some sense of nobility than feast in absolute servitude. Love the source for gull tilting. "…only when the clock stops does time come to life. " Yes! Bravo to you, Kyle. Welcome to the bearing of an unchampionable yoke in maintaining two blogsites.
Cool decision. Actually heard onthe radio some ways to get on the no-fly list, such as: have the same name as someone questionable; attend a peace rally; attack the current administration. For many people, being on the no-fly list isa serious handicap.
