Southern California is burning. At least 13 fires are burning from Santa Ynez, northwest of me, to the Mexican border. And it’s not burning just in backcountry, but in and around many communities. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.
It started this morning in Malibu, and now there are major fires burning in LA and Orange Counties.
I’m worried for the people and the animals.

What a profound caring and desire to help by those firemen and women.
They often live thru hell in their efforts. In my work as a psychologist I did much work for the Forest Service including debriefings in groups and individual therapy. My last group of 35 firefighters reported flames coming up from under their vehicle.I was almost tramatized just hearing about their trama.
