Spotted this thoughtful issue on Real Live Preacher. A giant American flag across the front of a church in Texas caught his attention.

Yeah, the flag is out of place there, drapped across the front of a church. I have one hanging from the balcony of my home, which I placed there for the 4th, and no cross over the door. But then, my condo hasn’t been sanctified as a place of worship.

I am a Christian first, an American second. A servant of God. Render undo Caesar what is Caesar’s, render unto God what is God’s. Right? Right.
